Flower Sale & a Class for you

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to let you know we received a flyer from our water conservation group about Home Depots upcoming "Water Conservation Plant Sale" happening on October 15th, from 9-2. We have been after the local big box stores to sell plants that are more adapt for this desert region. If they get a good turnout on Saturday they will hold more of these sales next year. Give it a shot.

Next is the ongoing series, "The ABCs of Water" held at Mojave Water Agencies headquarters in Apple Valley. This installment is entitled, "How to Prepare and Avoid Winter Emergencies". We hope it will have lots of great information about winterizing and protection of water pipes around your home.
